Germany based industrial holding Mutares acquires Byldis
Byldis offers a market leading off-site modular prefab concept for mid- and high-rise construction in Europe. This unique production system is the result of over 50 years of experience in engineering, precast concrete and façade technology. Among its projects in the UK, the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and the Nordics, is the Zalmhaventoren, with 215 meters the tallest prefab concrete building in the world. The company employs approximately 500 employees and operates three production sites in Veldhoven and Tilburg, the Netherlands.

Serving as a one-stop-shop for engineering, production, installation, transportation, and on-site assembly, Byldis’ method is up to 50% faster than traditional on-site construction with reduced risk of safety and failure costs. Headquartered in Veldhoven, the Netherlands, the company operates primarily in the Netherlands and the United Kingdom and employs approximately 300 employees.
